Porter began by first giving a little bit of background regarding Griffith. He graduated from Proviso East High School located in Maywood, Illinois back in 1994. Griffith then attended Triton College where he began his work towards an associate’s degree.

Porter stated that Griffith is currently enrolled at Lewis University and is looking to complete his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.

The trend continued as sophomore Ava McFadden was up to the task in roles of more playing time in recent Fox Valley Conference contests.

Such games included a 12-point effort from McFadden in a 55-31 win over Prairie Ridge Jan. 20. She helped as starters Anna Campanelli and Morgan McCaughn were out with injuries but have since returned to the lineup. Junior Cassidy Serpe also is a key substitute.

“We have a wide range of services, from aqua therapy to cognitive behavior therapy, and a very nice turnout,” District 158 event coordinator Jill Shadel said. “We have been working on it for about a month after there was a similar event before school started just for educators.”

The Woodstock Police Department believes that Seputis possibly has undiagnosed Dementia/ Alzheimer’s as he tends to wander and forget his name at times. Seputis is known to carry his wallet that contains his ID.

Authorities say that he does not have a cell phone or a vehicle.

Seputis was last seen on Jan. 8 at around 12 a.m.

True North has plans to convert the building from office space into a restaurant use, according to Village Manager Dave Johnson.

Johnson told the board that the village intends to sell the former village hall building to a private developer.

Alex Johnson will not have one big decision to make this indoor season and when outdoors begins as she has made her D-1 college selection as Arizona State University. She recently held a national letter of intent signing ceremony at HHS. The championships in 2022 state meet were in addition to the Long Jump title in 2021.

Cortez was taken into custody on two Class 4 felony charges of indecent solicitation of a minor and grooming. The arrest occurred during a human trafficking sting.

Ozzauto scored 27 points and Sammi Campanelli contributed 25 as Huntley downed Lincoln Way East, 67-54, Jan. 14 at the DeKalb MLK Shootout. Both seniors will be playing basketball in college next season as Ozzauto is committed to Leigh University and Sammi Campanelli opted for Lewis University.
