Huntley Area Public Library officially debuts its highly anticipated recording studio
HUNTLEY—To celebrate National Library Card Sign-Up Month in September, the Huntley Area Public Library (HAPL) is thrilled to announce the official launch of its highly anticipated recording studio.
The theme for National Library Sign-Up Month is “Creative Minds: Discover the Endless Opportunities of Creativity,” which aims to explore all the ways individuals can be creative through STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) based programs and services that are available with a HAPL card.
The official launch of the HAPL recording studio is the main highlight of the library’s campaign this month and is designed to empower the community’s creativity by providing professional-grade equipment and software for all levels of creators-from budding podcasters to experienced musicians.
HAPL partnered with Digital Origin Productions, a production company based in Huntley, to create an official promotional video of the recording studio, which is posted on the HAPL website and its social media platforms.
Patrons with library cards can now access the recording studio that includes high-quality microphones, cameras, lights, software, and more. Whether individuals are looking to record a podcast, create music, produce voiceovers, or film a video, the recording studio is equipped to meet those needs and is easy to use.
According to the HAPL, library staff are on hand to help patrons through the process of using the recording studio. For more information on the library’s recording studio, individuals can visit huntleylibrary.org/recordingstudio/.
